Most visits start with a nasal endoscopy — a thin, flexible scope that lets the doctor see directly into the sinuses and throat in the clinic, without sedation. Hearing concerns are assessed with audiometry. Imaging (CT of the sinuses, or MRI for suspected tumors) is reserved for cases where the clinical exam points to something beyond routine infection or where surgery is being planned.
